An EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) is a disembodied voice or sound caught on audio.  For the purpose of the following EVPs I was using an Olympus - WS-100 Digital Voice Recorder.  To trim the clips I used the program Audacity.

John Zaffis asks question

The clip to the left was taken during an investigation at Bucksteep Manor in Washington, Mass.  We were in the attic using a K-II meter, audio equipment, IR thermometers, and cameras.  Demonologist, John Zaffis, was asking questions.  In this particular EVP he got what is believed to be a very audible response.  The spirit was believed to be a child named Michael.  Start a discussion about what you think the response is in the guestbook.  I don't want to taint your ideas, so I'm not going to say what I think it says, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Sound over John Zaffis' voice

This EVP was taken during the same investigation as the previous one.  There is a voice over John Zaffis' voice while he's speaking, but I can't make out what it's saying.  Please, share your thoughts about this one in the guestbook.

Both K-II meters spiked

This was the third and final EVP caught during the Bucksteep Manor Investigation.  John makes a comment, then there is a pause, following which BOTH K-II meters spiked and people responded in an excited manner, as you'll hear.  The most interesting part is, the voice, which you'd do best to use headphones to hear, comes exactly when the spike in the meters would have occured.  There was NO AUDIBLE voice during the actual investigation.

CashtownInn

This EVP was recorded at the historic Cashtown Inn in Cashtown, PA.  We listened to about an hour and a half of recording and then we heard this.  It was recorded at approximately 2:30am.  You WILL NEED HEADPHONES to hear this EVP.  I could have done some enhancements to make it audible to people who don't have headphones, but I didn't want to compromise the sound any further than I did amplifying it a bit.
