Step 1 - Investigation Request Form
The first step in requesting an investigation is filling out our online application. Depending
on our caseload you can expect to have your application reviewed and hear from us within one week.
Rest assured that any personal information that you provide to the team will be completely confidential. No names, towns,
or addresses will be shared with anyone but members of the team unless GIAPS receives explicit, written consent from the party
requesting an investigation, to share specified details on our website.
Step 2 - Interview
Following the review of your application, you will be contacted by a member of GIAPS to discuss
aspects of your case in more detail. It's preferable to have members of our team do a full walk through tour of
the location as part of the interview process, PRIOR to the actual investigation. This will give the team more
time to digest information, research history of the location if possible, and think ahead about the most effective use and
placement of equipment.
Step 3 - Investigation
During investigations it is optimal to have as few contaminants as possible on the location
. In turn, making arrangements for children, pets, and family members is the best scenario if it can be done.
It's extremely important for members of the team to know who is on location and exactly where they are at all times so
that they have the most valid findings possible.

Step 4 - Analysis of Findings
Following the on location investigation, members of the GIAPS team will review all of the data collected
and prepare our findings for presentation.
Step 5 - Sharing the Findings
During this phase of an investigation, members of the GIAPS team will share any audio or video findings,
discuss personal experiences, and share any possible non-paranormal answers for what has been experienced on the location
that was investigated.
Step 6 - Follow-up - Next Steps
If findings indicate that a location is, in fact, experiencing some level of paranormal activity,
possibilities will be discussed for future action.
Possibilities may include future investigations
by the GIAPS team, a recommendation to another organization, or having GIAPS bring in individuals who specialize in other
areas of paranormal study.
